Here at O’Brien Nissan of Bloomington, we know that some drivers out there are looking for a greener vehicle. We may be biased, but we think that there are few vehicles out there that beat the efficient 2018 Nissan Leaf. That’s why we’re so excited to see what the 2019 Nissan Leaf can do. This model is arriving at dealerships later this year, and green car aficionados should pay attention.

Naturally the base model is going to receive some upgrades, but we think that the Nissan Leaf E-Plus may be the vehicle that attracts all of the attention for the 2019 model year. This vehicle could go a long way towards alleviating “range anxiety,” which is when drivers worry that an electric vehicle won’t be able to get them to their destination without needing to recharge.

The 2019 Nissan Leaf E-Plus will likely come equipped with a 60 kWh battery pack, compared to the 40 kWh battery pack found in the current model. That could give it a range of up to 225 miles, which should put you at ease no matter where your destination is. This battery pack could also use faster charging technology than the current Nissan Leaf model.

The 2019 Nissan Leaf E-Plus is also getting a power boost. You may not think that a green car can deliver a thrilling driving experience, but the 200 horsepower Nissan Leaf E-Plus might just prove you wrong. This electric car just keeps getting better and we can’t wait to see it for ourselves.
